Supper Inn - Melbourne

Every time we visit Chinatown Melbourne the Supper Inn is always on our to do list. If you want to eat delicious chinese cuisine, you must visit this place. Huge menu to select from and very very good value for money.

This restaurant is always busy. Even on a Monday night. The meals are consistently great. The staff are attentive. The decor has improved over the years, but if you are looking for a flashy restaurant and furniture this is not for you.The meals are presented nicely and flavour is awesome. The prices are good.Will be back to this restaurant again and again.

Entering the dark dingy alley and then finding the run down building I was thinking what the hell are we in for. The food was absolutely fantastic, food is out within about 10 minutes of ordering. They could improve on their drink service. Reservations are a must or you will get turned around, prepare to be told you have 1 hour to get in out. The food will get me back

Had dinner at supper inn and when I go to pay to I find out that they have a minimum charge for eftpos of $30. Our bill came to $29.50 and the waitress took it upon herself to charge us $30, take the eftpos card out of our hands and tap it on the eftpos machine before we could see what she entered on the machine. I did not agree to being charged this amount and actually said to her that there was only a 50c difference between our bill and the minimum. Now some of you may think so what it's 50c. However if they do this to every customer, even every second customer, that's extra money in their pocket. This is ripping off and scamming customers.
