The best restaurant in Carlton. Brilliant staff, great food and of course fantastic wine, spirits and cocktails. Even the beer is top notch :

The Carlton Wine Room is absolutely superb! The food is mouth-watering, the cocktails are divine, and most of all, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Particular highlights for me are the pumpkin and ricotta dumplings, the beetroot salad and a chocolate slice for dessert. Congratulations on such a great venue!

A pre theatre quick visit. It had a super chilled atmosphere and all the staff were so welcoming on my first visit, especially Christian. I felt very comfortable ordering and eating alone while I waited for a friend. The wine list is extensive and worldly if a little on the upper pay scale end of affordability. Similarly with the food if you were just popping in after work. I chose a couple of entrees, three beautifully fresh oysters and a feta/olive salad with the cutest crispy radishes accompanied with a very healthy portion of sourdough (big chunky slices) and whipped butter. Very satisfying.

I was lucky enough to dine in the cellar at CWR. Absolutely love everything about this place, great atmosphere, super friendly and accommodating staff...and the food? AMAZING!! Highly recommend, I cannot wait to return.

Had the most amazing night.. staff, food, wine and venue the best I've been to... can't wait to come back.. makes me want to live in Carlton so I can walk down and enjoy .. thanks for such a great night !
