La Porchetta Melton

The young girl with her name starting with n was an absolutely fantastic waiter. Couldn’t have asked for better service, all of the young kids they have working there are incredibly polite and sweet. Will definitely come back. My whole family was extremely happy.

There are a lot of things that just need to be fixed. We had to wait a long time to be seated and the manager was just standing at the till the whole time, nothing going on there wasn 't even that many people there, not even half full. The carbonara is not the best but I thoroughly enjoyed their beef ragu. Tbh, I had an experience last night that left a bad taste in my mouth. Tuesday 's are their $12 parma nights which they advertise as such. When I went up to pay they claimed it was $2 extra for the chips and that it had it on the menu. However, it wasn 't really advertised as such, when the waitress came over for our orders we chose a Parma and she immediately said with chips not chips are extra or something. If a standard side like chips are extra just call it a $14 Parma and move on with it. Just shady advertising and practise.

Terrible. Walked in and got ignored, then the waitress walked us to the table and gave us menus without a word. Ordered $30 salmon that was burned to a crisp and a $25 schnitzel that was so burned I couldn’t cut it to eat it. Took two bites and left. Charged $85 for food that tasted and looked like it was yesterdays leftovers. Garlic bread was the only thing with any flavour.

The meal we ordered was the porterhouse steak on a Wednesday Special. The Steak was saturated in oil and burnt and they also included small crumbly chips on it. They were honestly the worst I’ve been on. Plus wanted to charge separately $20 for a steak and not including side and sauce when the waitress said differently. Bad plating and presentation and walked out unhappy never going back reminds me of that Gordon Ramsey show with Greasy fridges that needed a revamp! I can still taste oil in my throat.

Went for a feed today for the first time ever eating in this place what a mistake it was . Decided to order a porterhouse with chips and mushroom sauce was on Special half price being on a Wednesday. The waitress told me it was good , it ended up coming with meat and over cooked chips and the meat was water logged with oil managed to eat half of the meat
