Kongunad Indian Village Cuisine

Really authentic food. A lot of options for both vegetarians and non- vegetarians during the weekend lunch buffet. The food is flavorful and freshly made. Have not tried the food during the week, but over the weekend the buffet is definitely worth going to. Overall, one of the best Indian restaurants in this area.

We met some friends here for dinner on a Friday. It was not too busy when we arrived at 6pm but it took some time to get service. The food was excellent! Everyone enjoyed the samosas, naan, and their entrees. I prefer my food on the spicy side and I asked for the lamb vindaloo extra spicy but it was not quite as spicy as I would like. Best for them to err on the side of caution and it was fairly spicy with great flavor. They did forget my salted lassi, but I was not charged for it so no harm no foul. We will definitely return to try something new from the extensive menu!

Tried this place for the first time today for lunch and it was excellent! The people who work there are friendly and prompt with your drinks. They have a buffet for their lunch and the food was great. They separate on different tables the meats from the vegetable section so they accommodate all kinds of eaters. This is a great lunch spot for a quick bite or to socialize with a coworker/friend. I definitely recommend this place if you haven't been here!

Awesome place. Delicious Food and great taste. Food is so amazing. The best indian curry you could ask for on top of the tasteful south Indian cuisine. We loved this place so much that we came to have dinner at this restaurant for almost 8-9 times in 3 weeks since we moved to Memphis. Highly recommended to all tourists and all residents who have never been to Kongunad.

The staff is friendly and attentive. I would rate the food a 3.5 out of 5. The restaurant itself is tidy and well-maintained. Prices are reasonable as well.
