Rendezvous - Memphis

Ate here in the late 70's. Worst BBQ ever Do not waste your money! Memphis has many many much finer places!

I love all kinds of BBQ. This was probably the worst BBQ I have ever had. The meet was dry, tough, stringy. Meal was lukewarm. Service was marginal.

This was the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. Not only the worst food and service, our food was served on paper plates and plastic fork and knife. Needless to say, we would not recommend this place, nor will we return to Rendezvous.

They were busy, the food and friendly service were excellent. Can't wait to go back!

As far as the food goes, it was as I had expected. I wasn't all that hungry and so I only had the BBQ nachos. The downfall came when the bill arrived. I was with a group of about fifteen and we were told that we would have to separate the bill ourselves. This took one member of our party over thirty minutes to do. Mainly, because he had to separate everyone's orders and then figure out the gratuity that had already been added in. I have never had an experience such as this while dining out. And, more than likely, I will not be going back.
