Írjon visszajelzéstI had the worst experience of my life at any restaurant. We showed up around 5 and were told we had to wait 30 Min. This was understandable as it was New Year’s Eve. After waiting 45 we noticed people who came in after us were being seated. I went and asked the Hostess why they were being seated and not us. Apparently we were scratched off the list without calling out our name. The hostesses began to fight over who fault it was. It turns out no one called our name they each thought the other called us. Somehow they tried to make it seem like it was my fault even after admitting they didn’t call our name. After, we were seated it took about 10 min to be greeted by someone who said they were not our waitress and took our drink order. Our drinks took about 20 min. and when they came out we met our real waiter. He took and appetizer order and said he would be back to take our dinner order. After about another 30 min. he came back and took our dinner order at this point we have still not received our appetizer. After another 30 min. it finally came out. After receiving the appetizer it took another 30 min to get our meals. My wife’s meal was pretty good. I ordered the JD Burger and it was really burnt. I asked if they could get me another that was not bunt. After about another 45 Min. The new one came out. The bad thing is that was burnt even worse than the first. The waiter said that he would check with the manager to see what they could do. When he returned, he made me feel like I was lucky to be getting the two burgers free. The waiter was the only one who spook to us. I thought at least the manager would come say something. I paid the bill and I had to go down to Beale Street and had a meal served to me in 25 min. and it was great. (At 9:45 on New Year’s Eve. WE WERE IN THE RESTAURANT FOR OVER 4 HOURS AND I DID NOT EVEN EAT DINNER!!! I work in Customer service and the customer comes first. If I had to guess this place was trying to go out of business. I thought let’s give them a chance to make it right I submitted this story to the Customer relations and had the Store manager call me. She called and left a message and I called her back 2 times and left a message with the person who answered they said the she would call me back when she was in. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL! It has been a month! I think it is time for negative reviews PLEASE STAY AWAY. There are so many awesome places on and around Beale St.
The restaurant is conveniently located across from the Peabody Hotel, the Redbirds stadium, and just a few blocks from Mud Island River Park. The service was outstanding and the food was tasty. However, the interior décor was a bit outdated with its dark burgundy color. There was also a strange smell of smoke or something unpleasant in the restaurant.
This restaurant never disappoints, no matter where you are. I ordered takeout and they served me quickly. The bartender and staff were friendly. Stop by for a bite to eat or a drink!
This restaurant is overrun with roaches and rats scurrying around. It is a truly revolting place, and stepping inside is both risky and frightening. When questioned about the conditions, they claim the restaurant is scheduled for renovation. I would never set foot in this establishment again, and I would advise anyone I know to steer clear as well.
I have been in Memphis since Monday (11 AM) and leave Wednesday Evening. I am staying at the Doubletree which is attached to the TGI Fridays on Union. Hence my review covers multiple sanctions of this property. The bar at this Fridays is 5 stars. The margarita I am drinking right now rivals Los Angeles' best. It is a flawless Sauza Anejo cocktail with a Grand Marnier base. I LOVE the bar at this Fridays. The food is better than the folks whom write bad reviews. Yesterday I had a chicken cobb salad to go which was 5 stars. Right now I am eating loaded potato skins. They are delicious. This is an awesome Fridays. Fact is I could easily drink and dine here.
