Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Memphis

Best Smoothies and food EVER! 10/10 Recommended. One boy made my smoothie and PERFECTED IT! The girl made me feel so welcome. I love going there.

The manager and the staff at this restaurant consistently go out of their way to ensure that every customer leaves satisfied. Their smoothies are truly exceptional, and I always receive a warm welcome when I walk in. This place has the best smoothies I have ever tasted!

I ordered the Sunrise Sunset smoothie today, April 29th, 2022, around 10am, and by noon, it made me nauseous. I suspect that this restaurant may have given me food poisoning, possibly from using expired juice in their smoothies. This is the only thing I consumed today, and it's definitely what has made me ill. Be cautious if you decide to dine here.

Time to pick a place for lunch and tropical smoothie cafe was the place today! I once thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant when I was living in Florida. I like the smoothies and the food choices are tasty and they usually offer a vegan choice instead of the chicken when picking a menu item. I went with the hummus veggie extra onions of course and added jerk sauce. I had the jalapeno street corn a and an avacaloda smoothie and did so enjoy my meal. I appreciate the heavy dose of onions and the quick and courteous service, not to mention a clean restaurant.

I have frequently attended this tropical cafe and others. I almost always order the same thing and do a substitute of a particular item but on this day, at this particular location I was told I couldn't. I know one thing for certain customer service is key and essential in the food industry. This debate I received from this employee was ridiculous and very much not needed on a hot afternoon. I will avoid this location in the future.
