State Line Tavern/ State Line Beer Box

When we travel, we look for local restaurants rather than big chains. The I I State Line Tavern was perfect for us with good burgers, excellent fries, perfect chicken strips, friendly service and reasonable prices. One minor problem: no draft beer, only bottles. Oh well. We had a good time and would try it again when we come through this way in the future

We’d driven by this place a few times, but never stopped until just recently. We’re glad we did! It’s very pleasant and homey inside, service was excellent, and my breaded tenderloin and pickle chips were very good. I look forward to going back so I can try one of their specialty burgers.

The chillest place. Love going here watching old tv game shows with Jim. The cats are an absolute delight too! It’s so comfortable homey here. There’s a loaded jukebox, a pool table, all the best beers. Wish I never had to leave. ?
