Peking Palace - Mendip

Prices are very reasonable. With less salt requested, they can cook foods with little salt. Fried Shirmp E noodles is excellent. Quantity of shrimps was very generous. Fried bean spouts and fried vege are normal. With No broccoli in the mixed vege was disappointed. Plain omelette with fries is ok. Massive hand made spring rolls were given as free. Very nice but salty, but with lots of bean spouts inside, we know that they have to do like this. If not, it will be stinky very soon. Si Chuan Chicken was totally different from then original one. Maybe because the boss come from southern part of China instead of the south west. He was so nice and introduced the attractions in Glastonbury. He do speak Cantonese too.

Terrible… hope the bin enjoyed it more than us… worst take out I’ve ever had the misfortune if trying to eat…

Really generous portions and lovely staff. The food is always wonderful and piping hot, I have never had a Chinese as good as this and would happily drive all the way to Glastonbury to get another! Never judge a book by its cover it may not look flashy but the food is the best in town!

Bit dubious about switching Chinese takeaway restaurant choice, but no where else was open on this occasion. Pleasantly surprised. Food tasted great, fast service, definitely will return

Lovely staff, great food, great price. You can tell it was made with love. I live in London and came from Glastonbury for the weekend. Have to say it is better than Chinese in the city. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about... Peking Palace all the way!
