Írjon visszajelzéstIt was Xmas eve, and we didn't do our usual check of TripAdvisor or Yelp re this restaurant. It's on a busy corner (Calle General Espejo and looked nice, so we just went in. Turns out restaurant run by a money-laundering thief, and tasteless food definitely not worth the cost. Insult to injury, they told us AFTER the entire USD $250 meal that no credit card accepted. No other restaurant this expensive in Argentina does not take credit cards, or has it clearly stated on menu or front door. Spare yourself - don't come here.
The food was nothing at all...Bad service, Long waiting time altough we were early Customers. The waiter could been more helpful so we didnt have to order extra fries to our meal, that included fried potato. Waited a very long time for the bill, while the wireless sat and talked to her friends at the table next to us. As "our" waiter Said that she was supposed to take our bill... and they wrote the bill totaly wrong.
We went there on 1st of January because everything else was closed in town. It was a TOTAL disappointement for us and ALL the tables around us. Several people left before the end of their lunch1- the staff doesn't have any experience. They mix the tables' orders2- it took 20min to order, 40min to get the botlle of water and 10m more for the first meal (a single disgusting empana)3- we took, the special parilla for two. It was WELL overcooked and... cold, yes coldat the end, it took us more than 2h30 just for 1 empana, a bottle of water and 1 plate of parilla
Good food, nice decor. The place has a nice atmosphere, the seating is comfortable and tables are set apart. Many customers were local the day we had dinner there. There are two waiters who have to cover not only the tables inside but also those on the sidewalk (covered to provide protection from the cold at night). In spite of being understaffed, our waiter was attentive to all our requests, the service was fast and the fare was good. The meat was cooked to order, the salad was made with fresh ingredients. We did not have dessert. I especially like the decoration, which used the natural brick of the walls. On one side, a long bench runs along the wall. On the other side, there are booths that accomodate 4 people each. And the prices were reasonable. Good food and speedy service: ideal combination for weary tourists.
Enticed by the lunch 3 course menu but wish hadn't wasted our money. I had a Caesar salad and my girlfriend cannelloni both were shockingly bad with very little taste. Dessert was a slice of kids three flavour ice cream and we were really not impressed. Waitress was very friendly though. Owners clearly spent lots of money on the decor but would recommend a new chef!
