La Piazzetta - MENFI

Had dinner twice and both times the pizzas were excellent. And reasonably priced. Drinks on the menu were not all available. Friendly atmosphere, most people seem to know each other... mainly locals. This restaurant is not on the beach and is not fancy, but definitely serves good pizzas.

This is the place locals go to have their Sunday lunch and that is a lot to say. The seafood is amazing in variety, quality and quantity. Do yourself a favor of a lifetime and start with seafood antipasto... It is a collection of delicious plates from fried sardines to steamed clams, muscles, marinated red fish, octopus, raw cigalas, etx etx. Have some pasta after and keep some space for dessert that although I couldn't try, I'd say it deserves attention. In short: go visit it.

Fantastic pizza, great salad, delicious panna cotta which we had as a takeaway so that our little one could go to bed. Very friendly people. Very pleased we found this place.

The food at La Piazzetta is among the best souvenirs I take home from Sicilian cuisine. The Antipasti alone we had (from sea food salad, to different hams/salame, vegetables salad, fish antipasti,... were already a succulent course, later sublimed by Pizze (the best for me: Broccoli, Mushrooms, Goat cheese, Mozarella and Parmesan, Ham and desert (a red fruits Pannacotta . La Piazzetta will be among the first places we'll visit again on our next stay in Menfi! Thank you for this amazing experience.

At a specialty food store in town, we asked where we might find real Sicilian food , and were referred to La Piazzetta. In an unlikely spot behind a car lot, we arrived at around 7pm, as they were opening. We ordered two antipasti Siciliana and a mixed salad, with a Piazzetta pizza to follow. Everything surpassed expectations, both in terms of quality and quantity. On previous trips to Italy we have had pizzas in many locations, this one was one of the very best. Real value for money, friendly service, excellent food. We 'll be going back.
