Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Merced

I ordered and paid for a special online, but when I went to the restaurant to pick it up, I was told that it was not valid at that location, even though it was listed on their website menu for that location. The staff mentioned they would need to contact someone to find a solution, and I had to wait for them to call me back because they do not honor this special at this particular location. It was frustrating and didn't make any sense, considering I had already purchased it.

I'm not sure why Dickies isn't in business anymore. The food is always good, especially the onion rings and BBQ. We usually get a sandwich with a side of their three different sauces and enjoy our meal while watching sports and listening to country music. I have to give a special shoutout to the young lady and gentleman working at Dickies Merced. They were incredibly friendly and hard-working, not just standing around. Cheers to them!

I used to enjoy coming to this place for their pulled pork sandwiches. They were $6.50 about a year ago, but then the price increased by a dollar. I didn't mind that too much, but now the same sandwich is $10.50? It's not like Famous Dave's!

Ordered their 2 meat plate with 2 sides and I am very disappointed by the 2 sides. first customer order from them via doordash and I regret it. the mac and cheese tasted and old, because it was very mosque and the ingredients began to separate. happens when milk-based product is old and is not consumed up to a certain date. the potato caserole tasted the same. it will be my last time I command them. 12 hours working on a place to serve, this is very offensive. the flesh was the only edible. very good. the back of the house must stop being so cheap and eating away, that happened it dated servierzeit. my health is more important then to have served days old mac n cheese to save just one dollar. do the right management and address it.

Dont order through the app at this location. They allow you to place an order with promo codes and charge your card. Then call you back after you wasted your time and tell you they dont participate in promotions. Its no wonder all the Dickeys locations are closing. Manager should have still gone through with the order due to the fact its their mistake for not opting out of the app if they dont wish to participate. Avoid this location.
