Yatagarasu-west Lafayette

This is some of the most authentic ramen in town that looks and feels quite like the ramen places I went to in Japan. You order up front, and then you are let into one of the tiny dining areas. All of the seating is bar type, so it's not a good place forlarge groups. It is awesome if you want to sit down and read for a bit while slurping down some noodles. You can even put updividers so you don't have to look at the people next to you. The wait is pretty long so bring a good friend or book withyou. The food is great. I had the volcano ramen and sushi burrito and both were excellent. The Sushi Burritos are sort of anAmerican Japanese fusion the sushi of Japan combined with the American Super Size me culture. It tastes like sushi, so it's amatter of personal preference if you think that this sort of abomination should be allowed.

Was slapped on the back of the neck forcefully by someone behind me. A bunch of guys denied they did anything once confronted. Restaurant still served them, but they cancelled my bill which I appreciated. I don?t get why they would still serve them afterassaulting a customer. Food was ok compared to their usual offering. Next time don?t serve them and legitimately make the placefeel less safe.

To order go to the large screen, order. After you finish, it will ask for a pager number, there is no pager, go inside, look for a free chair for your party, then look up and note the number, go back outside, type the seat number, finish. Then quickly gograb the seat. If it feels weird, it is. The Ramen broth on this day was heavy, two folks in our party did not finish the soup.The vegetarian poke is a good, only, option for any vegetarian in your party. The prices are cheap at approx $11. Hence, serviceis non existence.

I don't often write negative reviews, but this place has NO vegetarian or vegan options. It was disappointing because Yatagarasu Lafayette has great vegan and vegetarian options. I really hope they make their menu more inclusive because theirsister restaurant is great about it. Also, their timings are not updated on Google. They're open before 12

This was the best ramen ive ever had. The decorations and atmosphere in this restaurant are so cool and the Sake and Kirin were very reasonably priced. Also super tasty appetizers, if youre in West Lafayette, you gotta try this place.
