The Local Ny Style Pizzaria - Meriden

After being told about how good the pizza was and that it's made in house fresh, we were looking forward to it. It took a while to prepare, about 45 mins between ordering and receiving it. We ordered the tangy chicken pizza which comprises of buffalochicken and a healthy dose of blue cheese dressing as stated on the menu but there wasn't any dressing on the pizza. There alsowasn't much chicken on an 18 pizza. One slice had the tiniest piece of chicken on it

Delicious. Haven't had anything there that wasn't fantastic. Jim and I are so sad you left us.....good luck in your new location. I'm jealous that Stamford gets all your delicious food!!

I am pizza picky and insist on a NY style pie, whereas my husband is easier to please. It has been difficult to find ONE place that makes us both happy. Until today. I had driven by Local NY pizza several times on my way home to Durham, and today Ifinally got to try it. I could not have been happier!!!! We BOTH loved it, they were cooked exactly how we like it (bothdifferent of course), and the owner even agreed to delivery even tho we were a smidge out of their delivery radius. I highlyrecommend and can't wait to try more menu items. Job well done ????

Your first bite of pizza pops with a burst of savory tomato sauce which fills your palette with a tart not sweet and yet not bitter flavor. This pizza is perfect! The amount of cheese is not too much nor skimpy. The crust of the pizza is bakedwithout being burned as so many pizzerias in Meriden think pizza should be. After eating a slice of their pizza you feelsatisfied not bloated. Having moved to Meriden just over a year ago, I am so happy I found this place. My landscaper says thechicken parm grinder is awesome.
