Tacos El Metate - Meridian Station

I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito with no onions or salsa. i take one bite and eat a mouthful of onions. couldn’t even make it past that bite to see if there was salsa on it too.

I love el metate on chambers location, however this location is not the same, meat is over seasoned but the worst part was my kids getting expired justice with the kids plate they have, one of my kids drank most of it the other one didn’t open it. Smh!!!!!

The asada fries are soooooo good and the tacos have a lot of meat in them food is consistent as well over all a new favorite place to get

We had high hopes. Don 't pay extra for the quac unless you 're good with a cup of onions tossed in a watered-down avocado salsa. The limeade augafresca was delicious. Satisfied with the quality of the chicken and beef. Unfortunately however, if you order the carne asada fries, even the bigger order that supposedly feeds 2 to 3 they really only give you a ton of fries(McDonald 's style) with a sprinkle of carne asada. We also tried the chicken flautas. While they flautas themselves were delicious, they really short you on the toppings *sourcream, cotija*but over load it with the cabbage so it appears like a lot when it 's not. Staff was not friendly. We showed up about 1.5 hours before closing, but once we got our food, the girl working the cash register began to passive aggressive sweep near our table and even got my feet. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience, especially for the total price.

This place has been in decline for about a year. Prices up 50%, quality and portions have declined considerably. $15 for a chicken burrito? Go to Chipotle people. The breakfast burritos are a joke now.
