Sogo Sushi Asian Bistro - Merrick

My wife and I visit this restaurant regularly, and we've always been impressed by the food, the friendliness of the staff, and the presentation of each dish. We highly recommend sitting in the trendy bar area! If you're interested in learning Mandarin, the employees are very enthusiastic and make it an immersive experience. We absolutely love this place and will keep coming back! It definitely deserves five stars from us.

The service here is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The fish is fresh and truly delicious. You definitely get value for your money, and in this case, you get even more than what you pay for. The Sogo Roll is excellent, and every cooked dish I've tried has been fantastic as well. Whether it's lunch or dinner, I highly recommend giving it a try—you're bound to enjoy it!

I've dined at many sushi restaurants and consider myself a bit of a food enthusiast (as my husband likes to say), so I truly appreciate good cuisine. I highly recommend Sogo Sushi for its outstanding food quality and delicious flavors. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My husband and I have tried a variety of dishes, and we've always left satisfied!

We were often in Sogo during the first months of existence. The food is fresh, the service attentive and pleasant, and for an unknown reason there is always at least one table available, so no waiting! I think this restaurant will have great longevity.

This place is wonderful! My mom and I go there every time I am in town. The are SO nice and so attentive; it 's definitely more customer service than I have seen in a long time. And since they are still doing a Grand Opening , 15% OFF for each meal. I am very particular about a lot of these dishes (and cook a lot of them at home), and theirs are just so good. I love their (crispy) Scallion pancake, gyoza, shumai, spring rolls, fried rice, hibachi, udon, sushi, etc. There was only ONE thing I ever didn 't love (Duck Spring Roll), and they comp 'd me for it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I wish more people knew about them.
