Don Ramon - Merrimack

For the first time my wife went with me and she was very impressed although I was there many times with Jack Balcom.... we find it one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Merrimack area.

Great food, great service. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Friday evenings are fantastic if they want to be entertained with great music, singing and top notch instruments. the personal is great, drinks are strong and I want to try out the whole menu. two up!

Customer service is less than stellar.They seem to be understaffed every time I’ve been in recently, not that they’re unfriendly but they have too much going on at once. Food is okay but not as great as it used to be. Online prices are out of date and some items are more than double what they show online. Cheese nachos show $5.25 online and I was charged $10.50 at pickup. I do understand everything has gone up and that is inevitable, but when the price doubles without any warning or change to the menu , that seems unprofessional. Still a good restaurant but haven’t been impressed lately.

Was a little skeptical with it being in an old Wendy's but after having the food I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. The food is simple but has solid flavor. My favorite is the salsa! I could easily eat a bowl of this stuff for a meal by itself. The one thing I would say needs work is the wait staff. Alot of young waiters and waitresses who seem to have to check their phones between going to each table. Other than that I'd definitely recommend!
