Tortilla Flat - Merrimack

Cool looking old Mexican house, but terrible americanized Mexican food. Got a dish with shrimp and the shrimp was smelly and it seemed microwaved. Rice tasted like rice pilaf. Ranchero sauce tasted like barbecue sauce. Server took a bit to come back but was polite and helpful with the menu. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Very cool place. Built like a house with separate rooms for the dining area. Fish tacos are amazing. The drinks are very good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a beautiful dinner at Tortilla Flat. Meal was delicious, wait staff attentive. And atmosphere: Music and surroundings were wonderful. Definitely going to be on my frequent dining list. Enjoyed the salsa and crunchy tortilla chips. Parking: Went early so parking was not an issue. Good food, good service. I had the taco salad, with chicken, which was very good and my granddaughter had the make you your own burrito that she had announced excellent!
