Samrat - Merton

Went to Samrat with a friend for dinner. Meal was great but we did have to wait 45 minutes for our meal. Was annoying when people came after, got served their food and finished before our food arrived.

The service was adequate, but the food was disappointing as it was undercooked. This was our first time visiting and we do not plan on coming back.

The restaurant's food was amazing. It was a great deal for the price we paid and the service was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly. The only drawback was that despite making a reservation through OpenTable, there was a miscommunication as they did not have our reservation on record. Luckily, they were still able to find us a table.

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years. The staff is consistently welcoming and adds to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. The food is outstanding, with a diverse menu to choose from. Additionally, their takeout service is top-notch.

I had high expectations for this takeaway after reading some positive reviews online, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The tikka masala was watery and bland, with fatty lamb chunks and soggy rice. Both my dining partner and I became ill after eating it and had to take the following day off work. This was truly the worst curry I've ever experienced. I will definitely be avoiding this place in the future.
