Did the drive-thru, they had us pull around to the front door...15+ minutes later my wife went in to wait at the counter till somebody came. Our order (partly right) was just sitting there getting cold, we definitely will not be coming back to this place. Odd looking slaw but what do I know.
Summary: KFC doesn?t respect customer?s time. I waited 20 minutes spent $10 for a drink. I unfortunately decided to go through the KFC drive thru today. They told me that they were waiting on popcorn chicken and to pull up to the front. Totally understandable if something is broken or you have to wait a little bit longer but a warning that it would take over 20 minutes would have been nice. They also didn?t give me receipt for some reason I then watched the small parking lot (what like 6 spots) fill up over with more cars in the drive thru bc they still didn?t have it and were ushering everyone to the front. I came in and they told me they didn?t forget about me, which was nice of them but wasn?t the issue. I asked for a refund because I had to leave and couldn?t wait any longer for the food. I?m not sure what they said since they told me as they were walking away to the drive thru window. I did not get the impression anyone was going to help me by the time I needed so I left with just my drink. Do better: give your customers receipts, be honest with wait times, and maybe get a bigger parking lot if you are in the habit of ushering cars to the parking lot bc they need to wait longer.
Additionally, if you arrive just an hour before closing, don't expect to find any chicken ready. When you order sauce, be sure to double-check before you leave, as they consistently forget to include it. I can overlook one mistake, but at this point, I’ve come to expect that it won’t be in the bag, and I’m usually correct. This situation isn't just the fault of the employees; the management shares the blame as well. A poor manager inevitably leads to poor employee performance. If you're reading this, I suggest you find a better KFC than this one.
We ordered three large family-size mashed potatoes and one mac and cheese, spending $27 on sides, yet they still couldn't get the order right. Shaking my head. Our order was read back to us, but we still had to go back in to get the rest. However, the food was good!
This restaurant has received some mixed reviews, but I consider this KFC my go-to spot. It tends to get really busy during dinner time, making it difficult to maintain the dining area. Yes, you might find yourself waiting in the parking lot for your mega bucket of chicken, but that’s just because they prioritize food safety and make sure everything is cooked properly. I really appreciate that about a place I dine at. So, while you wait, just sit in your car, text (because let's be honest, you probably want to), and relax. Your meal will be worth it!
