La Crab Shack - Mesa

I HATE I HAD TO HIVE 1 STAR TO POST THEY DESERVE -0. DO NOT EAT OR ORDER FROM HERE. I GOT SOGGY GREASY UNCOOKED FISH WHEN MY ORDER WAS COMPLETELY WRONG FROM THEIR ERROR AND WAS TOLD OH WELL THE KITCHEN CLOSE IN 4 MINUTES!! The so called manager was sounprofessional and needs some customer service training. I have never posted a review before but this was necessary!!!! Iopened the box and gagged looking at the slimy brown inside of the fish!! DOES THIS LOOK LOKE A FISH PO BOY!!!!

Visited this past weekend, I had a shrimp and mussel bag, mild with their house blend and a frozen pina colada! Everything was delicious!!!! Our waitress was real nice as well and restaurant was packed! Will definitely be back!

The food is great, but there always seems to be something happening at this location. The posted hours don’t seem to be reliable. Make sure to call ahead before making the drive, as they can be unexpectedly closed. This has happened to us at least three or four times during their supposed operating hours. One time, a group of 11 of us showed up, only to find them closed. We ended up going to Angry Crab Shack instead, where they were open and eager to serve us. The food there was delicious too!

I always enjoy visiting this place for crawfish! The staff is consistently friendly, and the sauces are excellent, leaning towards the sweeter side. Just a heads-up about the drinks—they have a very strong flavor, so if you’re not a fan of beverages where the alcohol is quite prominent, this might not be for you. My boyfriend especially loved the fried oysters here!

My boyfriend and I visited for the first time yesterday, and we had a fantastic experience. The girl at the front, who wore glasses, was incredibly helpful—I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. She even let us sample the seasonings before we ordered and helped us find the best deal for our money. We ended up getting two pounds of snow crab, mussels, and shrimp, and it was absolutely delicious! We're definitely planning to return. The takeout was packaged so thoughtfully, including a table cover, bibs, and gloves. I highly recommend this place—definitely a 10/10!
