Rosita's Fine Mexican Food - Mesa

I am currently waiting in the lobby of the restaurant. I placed an order for pickup at 5:00pm with a scheduled pickup time of 6:15pm. However, I arrived at 6:16pm and my food is still not ready as of 6:45pm. To make matters worse, the dine-in option is not available tonight because the bathrooms are not working. I have seen several other to-go orders being fulfilled while I wait with no apologies from the staff. This experience is disappointing and the restaurant needs to improve their service.

My wife and I visited for the first time and we absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic and the service was good.

We have been enjoying the delicious Mexican food at Rosita's for over 30 years. Even though we only visit once or twice a month, they always remember us and treat us like family. The portions are generous and the plates are always served hot. It's a fantastic spot to spend quality time with family. We highly recommend Rosita's Mexican food restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

I got a LOCAL FLAVOR deal for this restaurant. We didn't have high expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. The food was decent a solid 3.75 stars. I got the Tacos del Mar with white fish, and my hubby got the Mexican Flag plate. He thought thered sauce was really good. We both LOVED the fresh salsa it came out with warm chips, and we got a prompt refill by ourserver. We give the salsa and chips 4 stars. The service was great attentive and swift. The restaurant itself was exactly asI expected kind of old and tired, but it had a real authentic Mexican restaurant feel, so I didn't mind the old and tired,worn out vibe after all, its apparently been around for decades. It had cool, nostalgic old photos all over the walls.Overall, we give it 4 stars. We came on a Saturday mid afternoon. Glad we got the Local Flavor deal.

Two families with young children dined at Rositas. The staff appeared displeased about accommodating a large group with many kids. The margaritas were excellent, but the food was only mediocre. It wasn't terrible, but our expectations were higher. Coming from Michigan, we were looking forward to exceptional Mexican cuisine. We will explore other dining options during our next visit.
