A Tavola Restaurant Wine Bar - Metairie

Came here just prior to closing time in a Sunday night. Staff was very inviting and eager to give us a great experience. You can tell that management there is very much dedicated to good customer service. We even got to meet their executive chef, John, who was incredibly friendly and talked to us even after they shut off the lights. We had fennel sausage pizza and crab cake. This restaurant is fantastic and conveniently located next to Lakeside Mall. The service was outstanding, with friendly staff, especially Kay, who brought plenty of smiles. The food was top-notch as well; the crab cakes were packed with actual pieces of crab meat. If you enjoy a strong basil flavor, the Shrimp Basil dish is a great choice. The restaurant is handicap accessible and offers plenty of parking.

Great spot in Metairie! I brought a few in-town coworkers here for a quick dinner. The food was tasty. I got the flavorful pesto shrimp linguine, and I didn?t get a pic of our bruschetta appetizer before it was devoured. Our server, Jordan, was friendly and attentive! We missed happy hour by a few minutes, but the specials looked great. I will say that the restaurant was a little chilly (probably to counteract the big pizza oven) so I would just bring a light jacket next time.

Wonderful atmosphere, and even better food and service! Our server, Lauren, was a delight from start to finish. We ordered: Goat Cheese Amazing! Brussel Sprouts Great! Chicken Marsala Great! Had a wonderful pre-valentines day dinner with my husband. This was our first time to such a lovely place. The atmosphere is very calm and the restaurant is beautiful.
