Quarter View - Metairie

We had to wait for someone to come to us when the restaurant was empty next to another table. it then took our server to come to the table forever and every time he did, he was chew a mouthful of food. the parts were huge it seemed like I had a pfund pasta on my teller. my kalb was hard, where I had difficulty chewing it. then the brot came quite a lot from the callbs when you tried to cut it and, they seemed to have taken what was like a 1/2 block of Mozzarella cheese and tried to melt it up, which didn't work, it wasn't even soft in the middle! when we left the hostess we think was the owner of all photos of her together with all the biblical statues in the restaurant sat on a stand that watched television on her phone and all eat while she throws her feet on a chair from the table next to her! I will say that eating my friend was tasty, he had the stuffed trout, but not worth $30 for 1 piece of fish and an ice pot size of filling. I don't want to go back soon. it was a disappointment to hear amazing things!

I was on a private party. we were so satisfied with the service and the food, we all had a great time. room was really nice, clean and a large size for what we needed. very recommended for private meeting

A quick decision to grab a bite mid day did not disappoint. Gary was our guy at the bar. We really liked him. He made out drinks to perfection and was quick to take our food orders. Let's just say we couldn't complain even if we wanted to:Drinks were deliciousCrabmeat Augratin was creamy and hotStuffed trout was cooked to pure perfection. I couldn't decide if the crisp, well battered humongous filet of trout or the Crabmeat dressing it was stuffed with OR the delicious creamy flavorful crawfish sauce was my favorite part! The sauce ran over into my sautéed vegetable medley and i almost cried when I tasted it. So delicious it felt I would never eat something so perfect again. My belly is very happy....all I need now is a pillow ?

Great restaurant with a Mom Pop feel serving fantastic local favs. Also now has areas for groups. Been dining there for YEARS. Be sure to check out delicious crab corn bisque.

First time here. Decor is beautiful with French Quarter murals and the young man who served us was very friendly and efficient. My companion and I ordered sandwiches which were delicious and big enough for a second meal. Will definitely go back.
