Royal House Of Roast Beef - Methuen

I had two Junior 3-Ways, and they were consistently fantastic! The portions were just right, and the beef was cut perfectly and cooked to perfection!

Best roast beef sandwich ever! It can't be beaten—just large chunks of beef drenched in sauce (and let me be clear: mayo does not belong on a roast beef sandwich!). Whenever I'm in town, that's the first place I visit. I always order two of them along with some fries. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and once I even flew into Manchester, NH, rented a car, drove to Lawrence just to pick up a couple of these sandwiches. I got two for myself and had one packed up to take home for my wife, then turned right around and flew back to Ohio.

This place serves one of the best roast beef sandwiches I've ever had. Their tangy, vinegar-based BBQ sauce is fantastic too! The pizza was quite good as well, but the real highlight is definitely the roast beef. I paid $16 for a small paprika pizza, a junior roast beef sandwich, and two bottles of water.

Some of the best roast beef around the area. Actually anything I've ordered here has been better than the average pizza parlor. The employees have all been great. I haven't seen any of them being in a bad mood always friendly. The roast beef you can get it on a sub roll, bulky or a onion roll. When you're around the area and hungry give it a shot. You won't be disappointed and probably will make it your go to place as I have when I'm in the area. Enjoy!!

The ultimate road trip from Delaware. With the absolute Best sandwich anywhere. My daughter went to school in Boston and we heard about Royal in her sophomore year and it was a must visit on every trip. Was devastated in her Masters year at BU it was closed due to a fire and the visits lost their luster. Then read an article they opened back up so it was up to NY to get her then off to Beantown where I demolished 2 large Beef there and 4 for the road where only 2 survived the trip. We will be back again in spring of 2021
