Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant

Had a meal here to try it out. Obviously new with it being attached to the Shangri La. The sausages and flatbreads were excellent and would recommend getting the platter to share. Their knowledge of the beers they were serving was ordinary and something they need to improve upon pretty quickly.

Best German food I've had outside of Germany. And most welcomed I have been in any restaurant in Manila. I would definitely suggest you take the time to enjoy a delicious, heart-warming meal. And Diana always makes me feel important and makes sure my meal and experience are amazing.

A great selection of genuine German beers are available here and not unreasonably prices given that this is part of the 5 star Shangri-La Fort hotel. The schnitzel I had was great and my friends meals of sausages and fish were good too. Decent service...and a nice location Recommended

This place has german beer delivered from Germany. It's fresher. I would say it's fresher than if we ordered it from Germany to our house in the USA. I see some locals not excited about food, they just don't get it. It's not about food....I lived in Frankfurt and I rarely would go to eat in a German restaurant. Why? They have great Mama Kim and Bombay restaurants. The food is just an addition to the great beer. Since the pandemic started they have a limited choice, but still great and freshly delivered beer. As for the food, most of the time it's oversalted for me. But combined with the beer this is exactly what most people in Europe would love. Service is helpful. If you leave your number you will get points and discounts from time to time.

My hubby and I went to eat here on the night of the 16th July. We both ordered different dishes. The next morning we BOTH suffered from terrible stomach cramps and pains, diarrhea, and vomiting, along with a high fever and weakness. I called the...restaurant 3 days later as only then did I have the strength to do so. I spoke with a supervisor who was very sympathetic to me and said she would pass my info to the area and district managers. She even took my address. I did not hear anything back at all. I then stopped by 2 days later to follow up and the person on duty in charge was very much less apologetic and took my number again to forward on. 2 days later and still nothing. A neighbour of ours also ate there a few days ago and suffered a stomach ache too. Very concerned that other people may suffer like we did, and the entire situation was handled terribly. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I am very concerned at the level of hygiene at this restaurant.
