Írjon visszajelzéstWe have been to Champêtre many times but for some reasons, have been there for over year. It was a pleasure revising a classic again. Chef Marc Aubry is the master of classic french cuisine. His Foie gras, duck and goose, were of high quality. Duck confit was done perfectly the classic way. No fancy plate decoration here, only focus on the main product. The veal with morels cream sauce was another of those dishes from the past but it tasted so good I wanted to ask for more morels! Desserts are like the rest: classic, simple but well executed and delicious. Service is efficient, discreet.
Due to the great reviews here we decided to book a table, however the ph no was un obtainable. Searching the Internet Zomato gave a different phone number which just rang out despite the site saying the restaurant was open . Yet at the bottom of the page it stated that this restaurant was permanently CLOSED. It is a pity that restaurants who support Trip Advisor readers advise their customers when they decide to close down.
Food was okay. Desserts are ok as well. But then the ambiance made me more sad, suddenly missed my wife. Will go back here in better circumstances.
I've eaten here and reviewed this place previously, giving it huge praise. I'm happy to say that my second visit, which was a valentine meal with my wife, was equally as impressive. Totally authentic French food with a menu of classics and a great wine and desert choice to compliment it, is how Champetre could be described, but I would like to say something more profound... this is the ONLY restaurant I've found in the Philippines who I would trust with a tartare de boeuf (steak tartare on their menu). It speaks even more loudly that I'm so confident in Champetre that I ate this dish on the day before a long haul flight... absolutely delicious all round. Fabulous experience yet again, thank you.
I have been to this restaurant for a business dinner, with 18 colleagues. Since the weather allowed it, we were seated outside.I had the mushroom soup (I found some MSG taste in it) and fish, which was a bit dry. My colleagues enjoyed other dishes, although some referred the steak not to be very tender.Their wine list is obviously filled with French wines and they have some good ones. The service was messy, as they mixed up some orders, and were quite hard to call to our table. Finally, as expected, this is not a cheap restaurant.
