As an appetizer we had octopus and potatoes, excellently cooked, perfect and very tasty, then terrine of livers, as a Florentine I must say perfect and very good. For starters, succulent and perfectly cooked spaghetti all'arrabbiata, pappardelle with wild boar sauce made according to tradition and delicious. The pasta is all made by them and according to Italian standards. Right portions. We couldn't eat the second course also because they brought us an excellent flatbread with oil which is difficult to find even in Florence that is so good. Generally I never eat sweets but this time, out of curiosity, I took the roucher and devoured it. All excellent served with care and attention. True Italians who carry on the Tuscan tradition abroad. Well done. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Been meaning to try this place since my daughter had moved into this area about a year ago. We r so glad that we finally did. I had a party of 6 and all our food was so finger licking delicious, starting from the apps to desserts. Our dear friend who was born in Italy says she felt right at home bc the food was so authentic n delicious. We couldn’t agree more! Our server Julian was phenomenal and took great care of us. We can’t wait to return so that we can try every entree listed. Excellent nyc quality style Italian restaurant. I enjoyed the service and eating. the focaccia is moist with the perfect chewiness. the sandwich is the best I have since the move to nj.
I discovered this next door when I visited phattra thai and saw it on yelp. it seemed like a popular and well-rated Italian spot in the mewels. because we didn't want to wait, we made a reservation at resy. we have a place in the free, but it was covered and had fans and seemed very comfortable. the Tuscan cook and the authentic northern Italian I expected. we started with her house brot and zucchini blossom filled with ricotta and toscano pommes . zucchini blossom looked very pretty and was quite creamy. the heap purée was needed to pump the taste. fries were rather wedge-shaped with Italian season that was dense. housebrot wasn't warm, but tasted okay. for our entrees I was attentive to the cacio e pepe and we also wanted to try the pappardelle meat ragu. both fell flat when the pasta was boiled. cacio e pepe 's cheese sauce was the saving gnade, but it is cheese, so can not go terrible wrong twe have dined in some great Italian restaurants and know al dente . but that was gummy and chewing that made it difficult to enjoy the dish. fleisch ragu was too mad and had no other taste except tomato. tiramisu, the Italian classic dessert went wrong as our meal ended. it was not airy and light as it is expected and has not packed the necessary coffee-epunch! not my art Italian food .. only a note that they do not serve wine on the glass. they serve only as a full or semi-bottle. Secondly, they have ordered their entire meal at the beginning, so please be ready to do this!
