It was enjoyable, but nothing out of the ordinary. The prices felt somewhat high for the portion sizes, although the quality was good. Overall, it was decent.

Pros: The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and there are plenty of menu options to choose from. Cons: There's an issue with the Uber and Lyft pickup location; the GPS directs drivers to the back door instead of the front entrance. Additionally, the ambiance is somewhat off-putting. The blue and green neon lights do not enhance the food's presentation and actually create a less inviting atmosphere. In fact, blue light is known to induce sleepiness, which isn’t ideal for a dining experience. Most restaurants use warm white or yellow lighting to keep patrons feeling energized and to make the food look more appealing. I strongly recommend replacing or removing the blue and green neon lights to create a more classy and inviting environment.

We had a superb experience at Akash. It's easy to dismiss, hidden, as it is, on an out of the way portion of Alton Road. Doing so, however, would be a grave mistake. Akash has a cool, modern vibe inside, with a pleasant outdoor seating area. The staff are friendly an attentive, and the prices are very competitive. Where Akash really shines, however, is the food. It was absolutely delicious. I would particularly recommend their namesake curry I am still thinking of it, days later. I would cheerfully go to Akash again, and endorse them without hesitation.
