Kalamata Mediterranean Cuisine

We have a condo in SOBE and usually stay on Ocean Drive to eat. We ventured over to Washington to see what new has opened and saw Kalamata.What a great choice. This Greek restaurant is quaint and nicely set up with a bar and outdoor seating. The atmosphere was really nice but the service was over the top.We enjoyed the food and the ambiance and the waitress came over and talked to us about the restaurant and the chef. There is another Greek restaurant in the area but the service is just ok. This is my recommendation if and when your looking for Greek food.Had the Salmon and the Chicken shish kabobs also the hummus and Turkish tea after the meal.

I am from Pennsylvania here in Miami for vacation, I tried Keşkül for the first time, a Turkish desert with Turkish tea and it was AMAZING! Everyone was so sweet and so was the food, I’m obsessed.

Came in on a weekday for dinner and ended up going with a gyro platter. The gyro meat was not seasoned and very greasy. The portion of the rest of the food side salad exec was not the best and definitely did not justify the price tag which the meal was. Service was alright but something as simple as the water was warm and genuinely tasted like just sink water. Not something I’m expecting if I’m paying 30 a person with tip
