Írjon visszajelzéstWe initially planned to dine at another Cuban restaurant that night, but one of the lovely hotel staff recommended Puerto Sagua. I ended up eating there for the rest of the week! The waiter was incredibly accommodating, and I let him choose everything for me. The food was absolutely delicious—it was simple yet full of flavor. Each dish complemented the others and had its own unique twists. On my first night, I enjoyed shredded beef, fried plantains, black bean soup, and some fantastic beer. The atmosphere was relaxed and gave off a true local vibe. It's not the flashy South Beach experience, but rather a comfortable, fun, and tasty place. If you're looking to spend a lot of money just to be seen, this isn’t the spot for you. However, if you want a reasonably priced, delightful meal in a laid-back setting, I can't recommend Puerto Sagua enough. My wife and I had never been to Miami before, and between our stay at the WinterHaven Hotel and dining here, we’re planning to return every February if we can. I really hope you enjoy this amazing restaurant!
If you're looking to experience the vibrant Latin-American atmosphere of Miami along with delicious Cuban cuisine, this is the place to be! The ideal time to visit is when the beach-goers start coming in, all hungry and ready to eat. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic, served promptly. The grilled shrimp were especially tasty, and there were plenty of Spanish wine options to choose from. While it’s not a fine dining establishment, you can expect excellent food at affordable prices. Definitely give it a try!
As for the food, the flan was the best I've ever tasted. The fried sweet plantains were excellent, and so were the beans and tostones. The pernil asado was also very good, as was my Cuban sandwich. However, the roasted chicken was a bit on the dry side. Overall, the prices were reasonable for South Beach, though higher than what you'd typically find at a Miami Cuban restaurant.
I had never eaten Cuban food; I was staying in South Beach and was taken there by some friends. It was so good, I am from Texas and there are no Cuban restaurants in San Antonio. I can not stop thinking about how delicious the food was.
Whenever I come to South Beach, this is the first place that I go. It is a step back in time. The Cuban food is delicious: the ropa vieja, Cuban sandwich, Cuban pot roast. Great coffee too. Forget those fancy, splashy expensive SoBe restaurants. Come and escape!
