Írjon visszajelzéstRancho Mateo in Miami is a hidden gem located in Tamiami, Florida. This Colombian steakhouse offers an authentic vibe and generous food portions, making it a great place to share a meal. I tried their popular Bandeja Paisa, which included white rice, beans, plantains, sausage, fried eggs, steak, chicharron, and avocado. What sets this restaurant apart is their weekend entertainment featuring Paso Fino horses and live Spanish music. These horses are known for their smooth four-beat gait and are popular for trail riding. For the best view of the horses, I recommend sitting outside, but the inside area is beautifully decorated with karaoke and entertainment options. #tamiami
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Our waiter was fantastic and provided us with great recommendations. It was truly one of the best meals I have ever had.
The service was great starting from the hostess, who was very friendly. Our server, Sebastian (according to the receipt), was very patient and made recommendations without pressuring us. He checked on our food a couple of times to make sure we didn't need anything while still giving us space to enjoy our meal at our own pace. He offered dessert and brought the check at the perfect time. We started with a large Refajo, which was a bit too much for two people, but we managed to finish it all. We didn't order an appetizer because we wanted to enjoy a lot of meat. We started with the "Carnellanera" (medium), which came with Colombian-style coleslaw, steamed potatoes, and fried sweet plantains. The meat was tender with a delicious charcoal Smokey flavor that is characteristic of this preparation style. The citrusy salad complemented the meat perfectly, and the potatoes and plantains were cooked perfectly as well. The portion size was generous; there was a lot of meat. We also tried the "Entraña Marinera" (medium), which was a perfectly grilled skirt steak that was tender and melted in my mouth. It was topped with large shrimp in a White House sauce, and the combination of flavors was amazing. We chose rice and French fries as our sides, and both were excellent. The rice was perfectly cooked and the fries were crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. Overall, the meal was delicious and the service was top-notch.
Awesome Colombian food! Drinks are big and good. They have live music and great service
Delicious Carne Al Carbon. If you are nearby FIU, you must stop and try it. Punta de Anca or Costillas de Res, so tasty. The environment is very friendly, with live music. I recommend you this place to go for lunch with your family
