Sherwoods Bistro - Miami

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! It features a relaxing ambiance with live music that creates a wonderful atmosphere. The food was outstanding! It's definitely a top choice for anyone seeking a unique dining experience in the area. The musician was performing in French, which brought back fond memories of my time in Europe. You should definitely check this place out – you won't be disappointed!

This restaurant is charming and welcoming, featuring excellent food and delicious cocktails. One unique touch is the self-serve barrel of Parmesan cheese, allowing diners to help themselves, which adds a fun and distinctive element to the experience. While the prices are on the higher side—our appetizer and two main dishes came to $75—it is justifiable considering the quality of the ingredients, the skill in preparation, and the generous portion sizes. The bar area looks great, and there is plenty of patio seating available. My husband and I had a lovely, quiet date night here, enjoying the pleasant jazz music along with our wonderful meal.

Sherwoods is located in a lovely neighborhood. It had been over three years since our last visit, and it was disappointing to see that the restaurant wasn't very busy. However, the service was exceptional—nothing to fault there. One standout feature of this place is the cheese wheel, which truly elevates the dining experience. The portions are extremely generous; no one at our table was able to finish their meals. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the salad to the seafood and other main courses. The banana pudding was also fantastic, and again, the portion was enormous! I definitely recommend sharing some dishes here, as you likely won't be able to finish them all—unless…

What a gem!!! We recently enjoyed a lovely dinner here with good, service and ambiance that exceeded our expectations. The manager Oz Was exceptionally attentive, and we literally consider this to be our new favorite spot. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite local places in Miami. Super cute and relaxed date night spot or for a wine night with the girls. Best grilled cheese and fries as and desserts. And cocktails don’t even get me started. Highly recommend the French 75 from their award winning bartender!
