Victory Inn - Mid Sussex

Stopped into this local pub on the way to Brighton. It was amazing! The seasoned fries were perfect and the burger was lovely. Totally recommend to anyone nearby. Lovely staff and a very homely feel. There was a log-burner to keep us warm as well which was nice on a cold day. Vegetarian options: Lots of options! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5

Absolutely fantastic. We could not have been made to feel more welcome on what was probably their busiest weekend of the year, the London to Brighton veteran car run. We were offered a cancellation for lunch on the Sunday following our visit on the Saturday. The village was packed to the gunnells and the pub were happy and allowed access to their loos for the general public. The lunches on both days were fantastic value and served promptly from very friendly enthusiastic staff. They really made our weekend perfect. Had an outside bar from early doors serving coffee and breakfast baps too.
