Ancho Agave - Middleton

The main issue I want to address in this review is the service. Whenever I am seated in the bar area, the service is terrible. I have had to ask another server for the check because my waiter disappeared after serving my food. I typically dine alone, so I'm not sure if that plays a factor. Even when the restaurant is not busy, the service is still very slow. Unfortunately, I have experienced this poor service multiple times, so I will not be returning to Ancho and Agave.

The service at this restaurant was excellent! I had a business lunch with a fantastic server and the food surpassed my expectations.

My friends took me here while I was visiting and I already can't wait to go back! We had to wait about 45 minutes for a table but it was worth it. Now, the queso isn't necessarily my type of queso, but it was pretty good. My drink was good and strong. The star of my meal was the pork belly quesadilla. This quesadilla was so good, the pork belly was sweet and salty, the corn added an interesting but good texture, and there was lots of cheese. I have never had anything like it and I can't wait to get it again!

My group of 7 had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Dine-in service for dinner was excellent, with a price range of $10–$20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a 5-star rating.
