Mama's Soulfood, Bbq And Catering

Be cautious when entering Mama's restaurant, as the door may hit someone sitting behind it. The restaurant was crowded, with a table uncomfortably close to the restroom. The restroom door did not lock properly, and there was a table by the door, so privacy was limited. Service was slow, with drink and food orders taking a while to be taken. Despite a lack of customers, our food took over an hour to arrive, prompting us to pay for drinks and leave. The kool-aid was overly sweet, and the waitress lacked friendliness and customer service skills. The menu was unimpressive and expensive. We ended up dining at another nearby restaurant with faster service, as we felt our food would still not be ready at Mama's.

The sliced brisket and rib sandwiches were fantastic! I enjoyed the BBQ sauce, it paired perfectly with the meat and bread. The potato salad and okra were also delicious. The pecan pie was moist, sticky, and excellent. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the generous portion of pecan pie. I will definitely be returning soon!

Oh my goodness, I cannot even begin to explain how incredible the food was at this restaurant. The seasonings on their dishes were just perfect. I ordered the plate with chicken strips, mac and cheese, and fries, and it was absolutely loaded with food for such a great price. Even though I typically don't enjoy seafood, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the catfish that my boyfriend ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I got the catfish with sides of sweet potatoes, and Mac and cheese. And can honestly say the best I?ve had since my momma. Just moved to town and will be eating here many more times. Also pecan pie was amazing

Very good food wait time is a bit slow so not your best choice if in a rush food was very good large portions and overall very happy whith it dessert was also good
