The Grill At Waterford - Midlothian

This place is a small jewel, a family-run restaurant with friendly service, a casual atmosphere and a well-rounded menu of high quality and well prepared food. I can't tell you how many restaurants I've been disappointed lately. After visiting this place half a dozen times, I can tell you it's tried and true. Here is a picture of her fried potato balls that were beautiful.

I am a big fan of The Grill at Waterford. Cozy neighborhood bar and restaurant with a varied menu and excellent service. Some of my favorites include the Southern BLT which includes fried green tomatoes on the sandwich, liver and onions dinner entree and the shrimp grits entree. The drinks are generous and well crafted. Nothing real fancy but I think you will like the comfort food and friendly ambience.

This place reminds you of the TV show 'Cheers '. With at least 80%of the guests being regulars and even newer people falling in love and returning on a regular basis. The owner Ms Sara is such a lovely lady and she makes the BEST deserts (all homemade)!! The food here is pure comfort and the staff goes above beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. It 's an extremely clean place and they 've definitely got a customer for life in me. Definitely try the chicken pot pie, crab cakes, chicken salad, Reuben, or their amazing burger!!

Fast service and friendly staff. We ordered the chicken pot pie, banana fosters french toast, cheese grits, and a breakfast sampler (not sure of the name). The banana foster was really good. The pot pie was different but not bad. Could use a bit more seasoning. The potatoes I could tell were frozen and not fresh but it was good. The cheese grits lacked flavor. Overall my experience wasn't bad.

This is your friendly neighborhood bar and restaurant, with a large dose of attentive service from the wait staff, very good comfort food, and reasonable prices. Our group of four ordered a variety of dishes, ranging from blackened catfish, Tuscany chicken over stir-fried zucchini and squash, and a Philly cheesesteak. All the dishes were excellent.
