Mamajuana - Milan

Fantastic and authentic south american cousine. As someone who loves to travel, it was a joy to find Mamajuana in Milano. The food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly. The food sometimes takes a while, but it's worth the wait!

I went with my friend on a Sunday night. I ordered Suramerica and enjoyed my meal thoroughly! The chicken was tender and full of flavor. The only disappointment was the beans. I expected refried beans or at least something as good as that, but the beans Mamajuana served was clearly straight out of a can. My friend ordered some sort of beef dish and complained that her food was absolutely too salty to consume. She also said her strawberry margarita was way too sweet.

Good place to try Colombian food. It's quite a little so it could be difficult to get a place.

Best Latin American restaurant I've tried so far in Milan!

I found this place by accident but it must have been fate because it was incredible and I was really tired of pizza and pasta. The owner is very nice. Make sure to try the house liquor, very very good. Make reservations if you can, the place is small and fills quickly. I save my five stars for special places and there is no doubt that this is a special place. The first time had the Bandeja Paisa or something like that and the second time I had a Mofongo. I can't wait to go back.
