The Province - Mildura

The restaurant is easily found along the "Ëat street" of the city. The decor is modern. The service is good.I ordered fish dish which was a baked whole baby snapper. It is unusual for a European restaurant to service a whole fish I thought. But it was simple, well cooked and full of flavour. I ended up enjoying enormously! My cuisine loving friend chose the Pork dish, The meat was cooked well although I thought the skin could be more crispy. The accompanying fennel was a good choice!The cost of the mains with started bread was in the medium price range. It is a restaurant for special occasion perhaps.

We had a dinner for 2 and we were so pleased with our night out. Food was fantastic and the tick all boxes in my opinion. We will be back!

We had had a late lunch after arriving on an overnight coach from Melbourne so we were not that hungry. We were considering a shared Italian tasting platter and a glass of wine. Our gorgeous waitress welcomed us with open arms and everything was perfect ! The Little Creatures Pale Ale complimented the cheese, prosciutto, olives, braised beef and arrancini. A shiraz and shared entree of quail and mushroom gnocci was a bonus ( and so delicious) and we came away with a great memory of our first night in Mildura.

I have Italian parents and I travel to Italy every year. To find an Italian restaurant this authentic and this good is rare. The food took me back to Italy. Thanks for a good, simple and genuine Italian experience.

Went there with my French girl friend and her friend. The place just looks amazing inside- the staff we're ok. The wine list was delicious and well suited. The food we ordered was absolutely superb. Everything we had was good. Good restaurant and would recommend to anyone.
