Írjon visszajelzéstI was excited to try the spicy miso but it's closed! Seems Whole foods is using the space for it's online pick fulfillment instead of the restaurant. Totally understandable but I wish it said that on the website or the phone, both of which I tried and could not access. hopefully it will reopen and I can try it. Searching for a good spicy miso now that my fav in SR has closed.
Tam Tam Ramen is delicious. I don't know why people have left bad reviews for this place. My husband and I have eaten here a hundred times. It has quality food, great service, and it's impeccably clean. We've been to Japan and this food is on par with any Japanese fast food. Go eat there and enjoy!
So good who would have ever thought owned by Whole Foods good ramen? My son loves the truffle butter ramen, I love the purple potatoes ;
I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves it. Great value, rich broth, great ramen toppings (ginger and truffle butter were a great touch), and wide range of sides, drinks and deserts. It's affiliated with Whole Foods so i hope to see more of these pop up. The restaurant was pretty quiet (surprising) but the food came quick and the service (Spencer) was really helpful in trying to decide what to eat. This will definitely be go-to spot when we are in the area.
The first thing I noticed was that the place was really clean. After ordering, I went to the restroom to wash my hands and it was notably clean for a public restroom and paper towels were well stocked which I really appreciated. The dining area and what I could see of the kitchen also looked clean and cared for. They have a good selection of teas and boba. I ordered a mango hibiscus tea which was very tasty. Not too sweet and I was overall really stoked to have a fruity, fresh option versus the usual milk tea options. I ordered one of each type of bao to try, chashu, shrimp tempura, grilled chicken, and soy chicken. All the baos were very cheap on the amount of filling, both meat and vegetable. They were also not exceptionally flavorful. They had six types of ramen, I ordered their signature, the Tam Tam ramen. The broth was very oily and the main taste note I was getting out of the broth was just sesame oil. I'm not certain, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had gotten the tonkotsu, as I think the broth would not have been so oily. The meat was ground pork instead of the typical sliced chashu. I did like the noodles, they were soft and sturdy, reminiscent of more of a pasta noodle to me. The veggie toppings were pretty minimal and there just wasn't anything really notable about the dish overall. As far as service, they have trash cans lined up along the back wall with various labels so customers can bus their own table. I'm not generally a fan of that as I don't want to have to touch other people's dishes to return mine. Overall, nothing notable, slightly overpriced and I probably wouldn't go back.
