Shabu House - Milpitas

I love bringing friends who have never tried Shabu before to this restaurant. It always provides a fun and delicious experience for them.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and it's a unique experience to cook your own dishes. However, the music (bad synth pop) can be a turn-off for some. The all-you-can-eat deal is strange as everyone at the table must participate, but it's not really needed as the regular sized dishes are quite filling on their own.

I only rated this restaurant one star because we left before placing an order. The website didn't provide clear information about the menu and prices, leading to disappointment. While the staff were friendly, the overall experience was not what I was expecting for the type of event we had in mind.

Pretty decent food. Meat platter looks meager but, believe me, there’s PLENTY to eat. Vegetable platter (with tofu noodles) is quite substantial. You get rice ice cream in the end so be prepared to EAT!

Eating is good and it is a funny adventure, cook their own things. the music (awful synth pop) is almost a deal breaker, at least for me. The AYCE-Deal is strange, because everyone on the table has to do it. not necessarily necessary, because even the regular size attracts a lot.
