Homemade recipes are clearly the highlight of a visit here. The broasted chicken is very juicy without being at all greasy. Wide selection of homemade pies for dessert too. Checking in during COVID is a little tricky (you are encouraged to scan a URL code...to check in before entering the restaurant) so bring your cellphone, well charged, and come early so you can enjoy the trip out into the countryside to get there. Mennonite hospitality at it's best.

Well finally found this place today august 20th 2021. My husband and I thought we'd go between lunch and dinner. We got inside and there was 4 groups of people ahead. Well done for covid with separated waiting areas. We haven't been in a restaurant...in two years now so this was splendid. We only waited 15 minutes and got our coffee quickly and a little wait for dinner but not bad at all. We both ordered the broasted chicken and it was so so good. We couldn't wait to get dessert but where so full after eating the meal. We ended up going to bakery (big mistake) bought peach pie and carrot cake and some other goodies. Just tried the carrot cake and so good and moist , icing a little to sweet not the butter icing I've had but it is good. Service great, covid rules awesome, felt safe eating inside and to all the staff excellent. We'll be back hopefully soon.
