Dr. Dawg - Milwaukee

First offgotta say I miss the Greenfield location! Before Portillo's arrived, Dr.

One of the best burgers in town, although it has been consistently past the temperature ordered the last few times I visited.

I am an advocate for the veggie burger..it is so uniquely good that I look forward to making a long trip to the Dr. to grab a few to take home...sometimes I will have a free Dawg Bite beer on Wednesday, it makes the destination even more special. Even if you are not a vegetarian, I recommend trying the veggie burger, it is no mushy/mealy flat puck like all other veggie burgers. Customize with toppings of your choice too. Two types of veggie sausage, and also cole-slaw and fries are all excellent.

I recently received a phone call from my parents who had taken my daughter there for dinner while babysitting. I couldn't get the thought of mouth watering Dawgs with chili and slaw on them, so I found my way there the next day to satisfy my cravings. As usual, I'm sure glad that I did!

My son is a burger guy. I'm a dog man. I always give him a hard time for ordering a burger in a dog house.. but he says the Angus is too good to pass up. Can't argue that logic.. but I'm still loyal to the best dogs in town!!!
