Írjon visszajelzéstThis is my second visit, and it will likely be my last. I was left disappointed. The flavors were bland, including their salsa. I tried the chiles rellenos, quesadillas, grilled cheese, guacamole, and pumpkin soup. The pumpkin soup was definitely the highlight and quite good. Unfortunately, the rest seemed to be made from subpar ingredients that don't reflect authentic Mexican cuisine. The grilled cheese was breaded and served with sauce, which was not appealing. The chiles rellenos came with a tasteless, watery sauce that spoiled the dish (the same sauce served with the grilled cheese). The restaurant's interior is outdated and lacks creative decor. In summary, this place feels devoid of culinary passion.
During my visit to Milwaukee, while staying at the Super 8, I discovered Jalapeño Loco just a few blocks away. It’s not often that I award a restaurant a perfect 5 stars, but this place truly deserves every bit of it and more. The atmosphere, the food, the presentation, and the service were all exceptional. The mole was absolutely incredible. I've dined at Mexican restaurants across the United States and have my favorites, but I will certainly be adding Jalapeño Loco to the top of my list!
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates delicious Mexican cuisine. The Pechuga Poblano is a standout dish that you absolutely have to try. My wife and I visit often, and we always have a great experience.
Always good and everyone is very friendly. One of my favorite restaurants. Eaten there for many, many years.
Attended a private party in their lower level. Nice space if you need a place for a gathering. The lower level has its own bar. Food was good and served buffet-style for our event.
