Írjon visszajelzéstThe fried chicken was soggy and lacked crispiness (please refer to the images). The edges of the breading were pale, reminiscent of skin that's been submerged in water for too long. Even the chicken from Pick-and-Save is crispier. The tteokbokki was bland and watery, with the sauce failing to adhere to the rice cakes or noodles. I'm giving it 2 stars because the chicken wasn't horrible; it just doesn't taste like authentic Korean fried chicken.
For drinks, I had a MKE Fresh that was fantastic, while Andrea ordered the Merge Old Fashioned, which she thought was a bit watery. Since we aren't heavy drinkers, this didn't impact our overall impression much. The service was quick, and the food was outstanding! We’re already looking forward to returning to try more items from the menu!
We also tried the loaded fries, which were perfectly seasoned and topped with grilled beef bulgogi, lime crema, and a sweet and spicy sauce. The fries maintained their crunchiness even with the sauce on them, and that sauce was fantastic—full of great flavor. For our main, we got the large wings, which were fried to perfection and tossed in a soy garlic sauce with more of that incredible sweet and spicy sauce. I couldn’t stop eating them—they were crunchy and packed with flavor. We also sampled the cheese corn dog and the jalapeño corn dog, both of which had excellent flavor and a satisfying crunch. I had a taste of the beef bulgogi as well, and it was bursting with flavor. The umami bombs they featured had a wonderful teriyaki and spicy mayonnaise sauce that paired perfectly with the Korean BBQ sauce. Overall, the service was outstanding, and the food was both fun and delicious!
Was a very clean restaurant and pleasant experience. Waiter was right on it and willing to please the customers. I would recommend them to anyone.
Fried chicken was soggy and not crispy (see images). You can see that the edges of the breading are turning pale like when your skin is in water for too long. Pick-and-save chicken is crispier. Tteokbokki is bland and watery. You can tell that the sauce doesn’t even stick on to the rice cakes or noodles. 2-stars because the chicken doesn’t taste horrible, it just doesn’t taste anything like Korean fried chicken.
