Írjon visszajelzéstWe had a large group for my dad's birthday and were seated at a big table. While the food wasn't particularly memorable, I supposed that’s understandable for a themed restaurant. I ordered the burger, which turned out to be, well, just a regular burger. The food wasn't bad per se; they just seem to focus more on the atmosphere than the menu. As a food lover, I was a bit disappointed that such a cool place didn’t offer better culinary options. My brother ordered chicken and seemed to enjoy it, at least. The food did take quite a while to arrive, so we took the opportunity to explore the restaurant. There was a magician performing, which was decent. The atmosphere is impressive, but after a while, you just want your meal. P.S. They brought out some ice cream for my dad, and the candle on it was enormous! It was truly the best birthday dessert I've ever seen.
The food was decent but didn’t knock our socks off—just standard burgers. My sister and I ordered homemade kettle chips, which looked more like the bottom of a bag of Jay's sour cream and onion chips. Most of them were crumbs, with only a few full chips. After we finished eating, we took a stroll around the place. While it has a nice atmosphere, it didn't impress me as much as I had hoped. On our way back to the table, I ran into our waitress and asked for the check. No one came by to clear our table; in fact, I noticed several other tables that weren't cleared either, despite no one sitting at them. I guess I'm just used to having a table cleared before receiving the check. I’m giving it 3 stars, and the only reason for that is the OO7 posters.
As for the food, it was below average; it seems the primary focus is on the setting and the fun, mysterious elements that you and your kids can explore while you're there. If it was just my wife and me, I would rate the place a 2 or 3 stars based on the quality of the food and drinks. However, as a family dining experience, SafeHouse is a wonderful choice!
We were on vacation and looking for somewhere to eat. We found this place and it sounded fun. So we were having trouble finding the door but it's a red door in an alley. We walked in and were greeted by a man we gave a password we pulled a lever and a secret door opened. We walked in a creepy hallway. Then we were in the restaurant. This place is so cool no matter how old you are. All the waiters and waitresses are in character. You can do a scavenger hunt that my son loved. There was also a magician. The bartender was also so nice. The decor is top tier here. The food was good and very filling. We have never been to anything like this. This place is extremely creative and genius. We had a great experience.
The atmosphere was neat but unfortunately the food just wasn't good at all. I recommend going to have a drink and check out the interior. Skip the food. The fish tacos, pulled pork Mac and cheese, and cheese balls were all cold and flavorless. The magician was cool.
