Best Chai Tea Latte I’ve ever had. Albeit the only Chai Tea Latte I’ve ever had, but it was DE LISH! Wife said it was better than the Starbucks version Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10

I always prefer to move away from big franchises and am thrilled if I find a nice local store. 88 Cups is a local hangout, old ladies come here to have their weekly brunch, friends to reconnect a board game and travelers find some rest and good food.

Stumbled upon this gem wild on a detour from Tahoe due to the worst snow storm in 30+ years. I normally drink black coffee, but went for it and orders the Monkey Mocha (bananas chocolate). The food, the coffee, the service, the ambience… Everything was perfect!
