Freehouse - Minneapolis

Appetizers were amazing. Trout dip was so good so was the chicken strips and the tuna. But when it can to entrees. That is a different story. Had to send back to because they were ice cold. The pasta was steaming hot but no one stirred the noodles while the cooked so they were a big clump in my bowl. Maybe just a bad day in the kitchen. Will try again just for the starters and drinks. That?s it.

Roto bird with broccoli and smashed potatoes. Everything was very rich and satisfying.

Honestly don't know if I'll be coming back. Three friends and I came for dinner drinks on Saturday night. One of my friends received her drink with several lipstick marks on the rim and our server graciously brought a replacement. Another received what was supposed to be a salad with rotisserie chicken, but was instead looked to be dark chicken remains and skin. Our server brought it back to the kitchen to have the meat replaced. Lastly, we weren't given any silverware sets and when we asked a food runner for some he brought us four forks, so we had to bother our server AGAIN to get a full set/napkin. None of it was enough to ruin our night by any means, but it was pretty irritating to feel guilty to have to ask for the bare minimum all evening. All that being said, my kale salad was delicious.

Food is always delicious and well presented. Menu has a good variety. Servers and host are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. One of my favorite restaurants!

Been to Freehouse many times. Always have great food, drinks paired with great service.
