Írjon visszajelzéstThe cold cucumber appetizer was refreshing and not overly seasoned, and my husband and I really enjoyed it, giving it a 5 out of 5. The braised egg pork belly was very tender, and while it wasn't overly sweet, it wasn't our favorite dish, so we rated it 3 out of 5. I personally wished it had a bit more of a bouncy texture. The Lanzhou noodle dish was rich and featured tender brisket, while the Chongqing spicy noodle soup had a light Szechuan flavor that wasn't too overpowering.
The staff are friendly, and the food is incredible. The handmade noodles are particularly delicious—I highly recommend the garlic chicken fried noodles. Honestly, the only bright spot in Sydney Hall is that this restaurant is here.
Hand-pulled noodles can be incredible, but they really shine with the right sauces, and this place nailed it. I had the Sichuan cold noodles with chicken, and it was delightfully spicy with a fantastic blend of flavors—I couldn't get enough! It was excellent. We also shared a combination fried rice, which my coworker praised, but honestly, the hand-pulled noodles set such a high standard that it was tough to compete. I’m sure the fried rice was good as well! Another simple yet delicious dish was the cold cucumbers in a vinegar dressing. English cucumbers, chopped and tossed in a light dressing? Sounds boring, but trust me, it was amazing! Just so good. Give it a try; you'll truly appreciate the effort that goes into this food!
First off: Their website says they are open every day, but not true. They're closed Wednesdays. If you aren't a meat eater, this is not the place for you. Ordered three dishes garlic edamame, moo shu noodles, and Szechuan cold noodles. Garlic edamame are wonderful!!! Would love to know what's in there besides garlic and soy sauce savory, warm, and delicious. Other dishes? Meh. The noodles have a nice texture but the sauces were nothing interesting and weren't integrated into the noodles. Also, they weren't served with any utensils, so one faces a dilemma of how to serve oneself a two foot noodle using only chopsticks. Tongs would help. Eventually the server saw us struggling and brought forks and butter knives so we could saw away at the noodles. Only the edamame were memorable and worth the money.
This has become my go-to lunch spot in between classes. I think this is a great little shop. In my experience, the service has not been slow though I've only gotten my food to go. It usually takes less than 10 min to get my food. The lady that takes my order is the sweetest. I've been getting the fried pork meal and it tastes great. I especially like the seasoning on the pork! So good! The University Food Hall that Master Noodle is located in is a great idea of a place but I don't think it's quite taken off yet.
