Flor De Sal - Mirandela

This is an excellent location but the service is terrible and extremely slow. You don't get served what you ask for and when you let the responsible know you still get a disagreeable answer. The place has all possibilities to be great but the staff needs to be totally changed this is for the snack bar restaurant was closed during the period we were there so no review there.

Well, when you arrive at the restaurant, the balcony by the river is something to fall in love with... the perfect place for an appetizer and a cold drink, before going in the dinning room. Once inside, the decoration is quite cozy and pleasant. Ordering some food, well the menu is not that rich in terms of variety, but it suits the needs. The octopus is a must try. The grilled meat not so much. Deserts are ok, but nothing to die for. As a conclusion, a good place to go to again, specially outside, for some drinks and snacks.

We visited Flor de Sal by chance on an evening where they were having a special local tasting menu with a combination of dishes, wines and infusions I think they hold such events once per month. The experience was really first class in every way. Excellent interpretation of local specialities folar, alheiras, partridge and wild boar combined with great wines from a nearby Quinta. The infusions were of different flavours mint, herbs, green tea etc which served to cleanse the palate between courses and also combined in an innovative way with everything ! The service was outstanding and the ambience comfortable and welcoming. I would be prepared to drive from Porto for the next such evening.

Boa escolha, restaurante muito bem localizado, vistas maravilhosas na rua. Equipe amigável e profissional, gestão de simpatia excepcional e profissionalismo, sempre acompanhando o serviço na recepção ou ao serviço, eles deixam boas sugestões, (Rui e Isabella). Pratos muito bem feitos e qualidade e chapeamento exemplar. sobremesas muito requintadas e saborosas. Eu recomendo fortemente a visita. Ambiente fresco e harmonioso.

Chegamos sem reservas, fomos atendidos pelo proprietário que gentilmente nos arrastou uma mesa. Dissemos que não queríamos jantar, apenas lanches, prontamente nos disse que não havia problema porque eles tinham grandes lanches. E assim foi, seguimos algumas sugestões do proprietário que nos serviu as delícias do restaurante. O serviço é excelente, serviço rápido, dinâmico e amigável. O restaurante está na beira do rio Tua, é pessoas amplas têm privacidade para falar sobre não são um no topo dos outros como no maior do restaurante. Aconselho fortemente qualquer pessoa em Mirandela a passar pela Flor do Sal.
